On Friday 25th, the University of Sheffield Architecture School will embark on a landmark day of public interaction with the architects of the future. Alongside more traditional construction methods, shoppers on the Moor will see straw bales and rammed earth installations erected before their very eyes. 'We aim to get you talking,' explains James Hickman, first year, 'Conversation and materials are centre-stage'. At the heart of the spectacle, the bandstand - and the former Vodafone shop converted into exhibition space.
